There are a few currently listed on eBay - for "crazy money", IMO.
I need one as well, so I've been watching :-)

What's CRAZY MONEY anyways? We'll (sometimes) spend $200 on a date with our wife or girlfriend...but hesitate to spend the same on something guaranteed to last more than a lifetime!  :o

I don't think $200 is "crazy".  Expensive, yes.  There are several listed that are closer to $350.  To me, that's a bit much.
Besides, my wife would flip out if I spent $200 to take HER out on a date.  I think if I told her I spent that much on a date with my girlfriend... well, it wouldn't end well, I'm sure!  LOL!  Truthfully, she sometimes refers to my car as the "orange mistress", because of the time & money I spend with "her" >.>

Mike I gotta agree.  In my tax bracket $200.00 and more for a water pump pulley is " crazy " money.

Holy sh**, I was at the auto fair in Charlotte,NC. I've been studying PN's on mustangtek and have got pretty good at it. I know for a fact, I seen these pulleys you guys are talking about for cheap. One vendor I remember had slews of pulleys in milk crates and I was in them for a while looking foe certain ones I was needing. And I came across several of the CJ and SCJ pulleys. I was asking just out of curiosity what his prices were. They were right around the $35-$50 range each. If I knew those crazy pulleys were fetching the kind of money that can be made ($100+), I'd bought the one's he had. I did buy several pulleys for my applications I was looking for, some I plan on flipping. I also found a rebuilt C8SE-8505-E  Boss9 date coded water pump and several items for Boss2's. I wished I'd had another day.
With what I know about pulleys now, I will be buying specific ones from now on.

One thing, You just got to get down and dirty and dig thru all the parts.

Who ever said anything about being RICH, as a matter of fact, I go by "RICHARD" only so people do not confuse me as being "RICH"  :P

...and besides, we HAVE to be a bit "crazy" to do what we do because most people already believe we are, so what's wrong with throwing money at the "crazy" part of restoration, prove to them we are and get it done RIGHT, so future generations of Mustang owners won't have to pay an even "crazier money"!!  ;D

Speaking of "Crazy money", I was on the Boss forum last night and seen where that 70 Boss9 snorkel went for $5300 on EBay. Some thought it was not original. A few, including Ed Meyer, stated that it was  genuine. I wish I knew back in the 80's and early 90's what I know today.

Hi Mike you have purchased several parts for your son's car from me. The C8AE-8509-C pulley has been observed as original to non SCJ cars as well as the C8OE-8509-A you are asking for. These have "C8AE-8509-A" stamped between the sheaves. They are the correct ones for the SCJ before September 1969 but ended up on non SCJ at times as well. I have a few of these C pulleys and they are rarer than the A but would sell you one for less than all these others if interested.
