65 conv A pillar holes
«

On my 65 there are 4 holes in the A pillar on the front side. I know that 3 of them are for the windshield molding clips. But I cant figure out what the 4th hole is for. I cant find anything in any of the assemble manual diagrams. Attached are 2 pics. The hole is question in the middle of the pic and it is located more toward the outside of the car than the 3 for the molding. Anyone know what this hole is for?

Early cars had a screw there, which matched up to a notch on the molding, I'd guess for alignment.
The screw was the same as used on the glove box door tether cable.
