This was at a show today and I've never heard of this before....Has anyone else?  It is an A-code couple built in San Jose December of 64....

The two listed in the Mustang Production Guide; 5R09K165880 and 5R09K165889, are both fastback K-codes. Built December 19th.

Always stories - would need to know allot more about the car.

"Built by Ford" is a big statement - How as the car altered/or equipped?  Was there a bras tag or indication of one of the shops did the work?

Since it was a San Jose car would guess that they were set to SoCal

Lots of questions but its often safer to handle these at an arms reach to begin with IMHO

Would have been interesting to see if the owner knew (of the claims were true) what class it was reported to have built for? Lots of classes from Stock to A/FX  Had a friend that drove one of the BFX ones for Ford in the mid-late 60's in Calif when he worked for them

I really didn't talk to the owner I could just over hear how he kept saying it was one of 6 and how everything was original on the car...It had a paxton super charger but they didn't drill the hole for the air canister in the radiator support, it was just hanging against the fender apron.   Maybe next show I see him at I can ask him Jeff those questions...
