Title: Sway Bar Bushings 68 GT350
Post by: John Quinn on November 13, 2010, 06:34:03 PM
The sway bar bushings I found on my GT350 are somewhat different to a set I just received.  The new bushings don't "fill up" the sway bar bracket as the ones found on the car do. There are a couple of other versions of bushings currently available but none seem to be formed or fit like the old ones.  What would have original bushings looked like?

The last picture. The Ford service replacement is a fit all type and dosn't fit like the assembly line . It fits very well on a smaller diameter bar though. R-A motorsports sells the correct 15/16 bushing. 816 246 9094. Tell them I told you to call. i hope this helps. Bob

This question relates to this topic but my question is related to the bracket holding the rubber bushing. Is that bracket used only for the 15/16" bar or also for the 7/8" sway bar with a different rubber insert?
