Title: 1967 V8 Mustang convertible
Post by: CharlesTurner on July 19, 2013, 08:51:06 AM
I helped a local lady restore her '67 convertible a few years back.  She has decided to sell and it is now being offered by RK Motors in Charlotte, NC.  This car is very solid and nicely done.  It was never intended to be a concours-correct show car, just a super nice reliable classic that could be driven on weekends and nice weather days.  Of course, anyone that knows me, will notice a lot of correct detailing throughout.  Think I finished this one around 2009 in time for the MCA show in Raleigh, where it got a 1st place in Occasional Driven.  She has taken it to cruise-in's and local charity shows since then and always done well.  Just thought I would pass along info on a nice car and reasonably priced.  She spent over $50k on the restoration.  I think she has driven it maybe 5-10k miles since finished.

Now listed as SOLD.  If so, someone picked up a nice car.  Amazing restoration based on the 'before' pictures.

If I didn't have a twin to it, I could have seen it in my garage.  ;)

Hey Phill maybe you can track it down over there.  I really like that color combo and it is a nice restoration.
