Title: Floor Pan Sealing
Post by: Alpha1946 on October 02, 2011, 09:56:11 PM
When sealing underneath my mustang which was built in Dearborn in June 1964 should the front floor pan seam where it meets the toe board and the rear floor pan seam where it meets under the rear seat be sealed?

Thanks for any help.

Only seam sealer we usually see on the bottom floor pan area of 65-66 is at the rocker edge.  Jeff might have some pics to confirm.

For that period and plant I would agree. Checked my pictures and have none with seam sealer (before or after floor color) anywhere except the rocker to floor seams on both sides.
