It seems that the bracket that connects the console to the dash is missing on our car. If some one could get a picture and some measurement so I can reproduce one I would be very grateful.

Is your car automatic? L brackets only on 4 speed cars

Yes it is a automatic. The drawing in the assembly manual did not specify Manual or automatic. I will have to check the dash for a screw hole. I am sure you are correct it probably never had one. Thanks for your help.
