Where do the Vapor Return/Emission decals go on a 1970 Dearborn built Boss 302 go?
This is a question I was sent a week or so ago. After doing some research I felt the response might help others and owners in the future so I'm posting it here.

With the addition of the California Emission decal added to the snorkel the timing decal was relocated from where it is sometimes found to make room for both. From 0F02G142xxx

Do think that is the same location for the Dearborn 70 CJ/SCJ around the same VIN#. Quite sure the trunk decal is located at the same spot.
Thanks

John are you asking about the air cleaner/snorkel or the trunk decal(s)?

Both...But quite sure I have seen the trunk decal on the same spot on a 70 Dearborn CJ/SCJ around the same VIN#.

Would agree that the one in the trunk would likely be the same. And the one on the snorkel, though I can find no original examples in my photo library, related to the vapor return system would be also.
Can't speak to the timing decal as I've got no documentation for that one for your car and time period. Would ask over on the CJ Forum
