Title: Fender Emblem Paint

I'm looking for information on getting a pair of fender emblems repainted. I have a '65 T-5 and both emblems are worn down to the chrome. Has anybody had a set of emblems repainted successfully?
There are absolutely no replacements available except one NOS set that has an asking price of $2400. Mine will be fine if they can be professional repainted. I've attempted to attach a pic of mine and what a NOS looks like. A 2014 post stated these were flat plates with decals...I wish.

I have had Kathryn Maxwell help me in the past. Not cheap but way less than what you are talking about for an NOS piece. In my case, the first step was to rechrome it as it was in pretty bad shape...Brightworks Chrome in Piqua, Ohio does very good work on small pot metal parts like emblems. Kathryn then did the painting for me. Her website is:
