Title: 390 P/B Vacuum Lines
Post by: TrevorK on July 17, 2010, 01:21:58 AM
Do any of you know what the difference might be between the steel p/b vacuum line for a manual and an A/T car? I'm trying to get the correct part for my '67 390 4-speed, but a number of the vendors only list a steel line for a '67 390 with A/T. I'm currious as to what the difference might be...

Looked into this a while back for restoration of my two '68 S codes, one manual one auto.  Never found conclusive descriptions of the tubes, but as far as I could tell it was one-size-fits-all, no differnce between manual and auto.  Found two variations of the tube, one primarily straight, a few minor bends, and one offset "S" bend.

Mansfield Mustang lists them with photos, but does not note a specific application for '67 390's or note maual/auto differences.
