The Jan '68 MPC is showing 164.

I think thats the standard trans one. It shows 157 for C4 but I thought they changed sometime in the 68 or maybe 69 year?

You're right, I was looking at the wrong section.  Here's the scoop:

p/n C3AZ 6375-K, # C7OP-B, C - 157 tooth ring gear - (4) 7/16" converter attaching holes on 10 1/2" bolt circle.
