Title: What is this bracket?

This bracket is on a 67 convert, on the insides of the rear frame rails.  Maybe exhaust?
289 single exhaust car.

Yes, exhaust mount reinforcement.

I assume for single exhaust as there are no reinforcements behind the rear seats.

For '67, only S and K codes came from the factory with dual exhaust.
