Title: 66 Shelby quarter windows
Post by: dbm350 on January 25, 2010, 11:44:01 PM
I am getting ready to install the quarter windows. I have been told the aluminum frames were a satin finish. My frames wre so badly weathered that it was hard to tell what the finish was. When I removed the clips that covered the joints, it appeared the finish was bright and shiny..... anodized?  That portion af the frame did not look like a satin finish. Any thought ?
                                       Thanks , Doug

The anodizing gives a shiny appearance . The trim was a satin finish and anodized which made it look fairly shiny. It was not meant to be highly polished like a mirror. Bob
