Hi, new to this forum but not new to concours resto's. Look at my user name and you can guess the car I have is not a Mustang. But it is a FOMOCO product and a lot of stuff, parts and building info goes across the board. This forum will help me build a better car. I have already used Dead Nuts On, super guy.

Again welcome to our home :)

You have a great car! Welcome!

Welcome, great to have new members here interested in these cars. But, I am at a loss to know what a 1969 Cale II is, sorry.

It's a Mercury. The owner is looking for general concourse restoration tips, which I see as a compliment to this forum and it's moderators.

OK, kinda like me looking at the '69 things here sometimes since I have a '69 Cougar XR7 R code, I got it. What kind of Mercury is it?

I'll take that it's a beauty like this one:

Nice! So a Cyclone, neat cars!

It is a long nose car, the Mercury version of a Talladaga. Cyclone Spoiler II is the model name. If you want to talk rare, Kevin Marti only has vins to prove 353(I think that is the number) of the long nose Mercs were made. They have special fenders, header panel and inner bracing only on these cars. Used pieces do not exist. If I crash this car(god forbid) it is history. Hows that for driving smart?
