Seat track application
«
on:
September 25, 2016, 01:06:56 PM »
I bought a parts lot at a swap meet and this seat track came with it.
It is the one on the top, see how it is different from the standard
Mustang track on the bottom. The holes line up perfectly with the
Mustang track so I'm thinking its from a Mustang bench seat or other
Ford car bench seat?
Any ideas?
TIA

you're right--looks like they'd fit an early bench seat--

All "early" track were similar in that they used two separate plates at the ends, these have an integral plate, the curved down end. Not 64-66, maybe not 67-68.

Yup, that track is for a bench seat application.

FYI the transition from the separate plates to the fixed plates on bucket seat tracks was in mid 67 production. Just add it to the list of so many other things that changed in 67 .
