What cleaner to use on plastic parts?

Have the gas tank emissions venting plastic parts for  1970 Mustang with a Cali DSO...

what is best way to clean these plastic parts....mainly old dirt/grime on it...

i would use a diluted simple green solution. i use that stuff for most of my cleaning.

I've used wax and grease remover with success while not damaging the part.

I fill a bucket of warm water with spic & span or mr. clean and it works good on plastics. Just stay away from harsh chemicals that could melt the plastic or dull it.
