6.5 Million more to go to reach the Model T production number, 11.5 more to reach the VW beetle, and *gasp* 30+M to reach the Toyota Corolla production numbers!

It's sort of disingenuous to compare all those other cars to the Model T or the VW beetle. Both of them used basically the same chassis and engine configuration to make those numbers. There's not one part of a '65 Mustang that could be used on a 2018 Mustang. Same for the Toyota. Statistics are only applicable in my opinion if they have some meaning to them Just having the name Mustang or Corrolla is not the same as what happened with the Model T and the VW.
