Topic: Fan ID

Good afternoon.  Mods please move this if I posted it in the wrong place.  I have a fan that I’m trying to identify. It was on a 67 390 no ac car. I can’t find any that look like this, nor can I find any part number or fomoco stamps. It looks like a ford fan but not the correct for my application.  Thanks

Brian, you need a C6OE-E fan this part is 18 1/4" wide with the engineering number on the back and  Ford in an oval on the front.

Without some identification (engineering number) there is little way to tell for sure. You can make a guess of a possibility by trying to match the dia, what details you do have and center style to the information provided in a copy of the MPC.

Judging by the lack of markings I am going to guess it is some sort of aftermarket fan that uses a fan clutch. Maybe Hayden? There used to be many companies that made fans and fan clutches that you could buy at the auto part stores.

The SC stamp shown in your second picture, is something we see on Ford fans often but sub contractors could also make aftermarket, service replacements and factory items at the same of different time periods.
