Try PS Auto Glass in Janesville WI.  Sorry I don't have the phone number.  I used them and was happy. Quentin

I used Pilkington Glass out of Ohio.  Logo looked great and they put the date code I wanted but the guy who did their etching was killed in an explosion but he had an apprentice so hopefully he has taken over

I also used PS Auto Glass for my date coded windshield.  Easy to work with and a quick turnaround.

I called ECS they said that they did not have a windshield for a 68 coupe but had it for 65-67 coupe and 68 convertable and fastback. I was not aware that there was any difference in models or years 65-68. I guess the 68 could have been different because of the mirror mounted on the glass? I will try PS auto glass next. Thanks Marty

AFAIK all 65-68 are same front windshield just different tint whether AC or not. Mirror mounting has nothing to do with it

I agree that is what I allways thought. It caught me by suprise when ECS said that they were different. I thought they knew something I did not. PS auto Glass was helpful today. Thanks for the comments. Marty

Glad you used PS Auto Glass.  Used them to get the correct date coded tinted windshield for my 67.  Did a great job and very freindly.  Nice thing is I have family in the area who picked it up a delivered it to me in TN.  This saved me the crating and shipping charge.

+4 on PS!! Great folks there and great products!!
I was lucky I still had my original windsheils to work with in having them etch the new one!
They explained that the originals were sometimes etched so they read left to right from the inside, and others were just backwards to this, I don't know if it was a plant/supplier specific thing or not but its all in the details to get it right!!
ALSO: PS did the replacement door glass for my '65 K code convertible in the Sun x tinted and besides the etching matching perfectly the glass itself matches the 45 year old original vents and quarters!!
