64 1/2 D code
« on: March 16, 2011, 06:52:12 PM »
A friend of mine is looking at purchasing a 64.5 D code conv.  I dont know yet what plant it was built at or when, but it has a rally pac, rally wheels, and a Borg Warner 4 speed.  Would it be too early for the rally pac and wheels?  Apparently it only has 65k miles on it.

OK got some more info.  The car was built in Dearborn with a scheduled build date of 06/25/64.  I'm thinking that might be a little early for the rally wheels and not sure about that transmission.  Thoughts, opinions?

Yes, too early for SS wheels.  They came out on a dealer price sheet update sometime around the end of July '64.
