Turn around at Chocks for steering cylinder rebuild was only 2 days and $100. It's already on it's way back to me. I guess he uses Gibbs ultra lubricant and penetrant but it must be applied every 2 months.

Other threads will provide you with more than a half dozen options and there is always the traditional (by this point in time) Boesheild

Allot of the need and how often its recoated has to do with how the car will be stored, used and the local conditions

Ive been using BoeShield for years but am now using WD40 Corrosion Inhibitor based on some things I have been reading lately.  I would use one of those two products...but like Jeff said it all depends on your environment.
