69 Carlite Windscreen Logo
« on: May 12, 2011, 10:10:07 PM »
My new glass is nearly ready and the people supplying it have queried the logo and date code to go on it;

Are the words "SUN VISOR" and the date code of 9B feasible for a San Jose, February 26 1969 build ?
(Not sure if the windscreen has been replaced)

If not correct what could it be ?

Also what do the FM-M55, FM-M57 and FM-M61 codes stand for ?

My 3/18/69 built SJ car has all 9A and 9B glass, so I think 9B is a little early for yours.  I would expect 9A.

My car has all original glass except the windshield.  I can't tell you with authority what an original windshield would have.
