1972 Mach 1 Tape stripe location

Were original tape stripes on a 1972 Mach 1 applied to stop at the edge of the door or did the tape wrap around the door edge slightly?

They wrapped around about 3/8 - 1/2.  Chuck

I'm glad to see some activity on the 71-73 cars. I was beginning to think it was just me and Brian.  Chuck

I have always appreciated 71-73 Mustang models. In addition to my '72 Q code I own a '73 Mustang convertible Q code which is awaiting restoration and a recently purchased '71 J code that is currently being restored. All of my cars are survivors, retaining much original metal and parts. Really appreciate your site!
