Galvanized Finish on Convertible Well Area Tack Strip

I am preparing my 66 Sprint restoration to take to my upholstery guy for its new top. one of the last things I needed to do was clean and paint the side tack strips which were originally galvanized (the back piece was still in great shape). They were rusted pretty severe but I wanted to use the originals. I bead blasted them and then painted them using the faux galvanizing instruction I found in the Forum Library. They turned out great, I believe if I didn't tell anyone they were painted that they actually look freshly galvanized. Look for yourself.
