Dash Pad

Has anybody ever attempted to repair a cracked dash pad.  Is there any place out there that repairs these.

I haven't seen one repaired successfully (repaired so you couldn't tell). Wish someone could.

Many years back there was an advertisement in Hemming's about an outfit that did dash pad repairs. I think they were in Southern California.  Do a search (Yahoo or Google) and see what pops up.

I have had some 68 head rests repaired by a friend that runs a Dr. Vinyl. They turned out very well. He told me if the vinyl is sun baked hard it is not possible to repair.
