Source for Convertible Sun Visor Tips?
« on: April 25, 2014, 11:36:06 AM »
Has anyone found a decent replacement for the rubber tip on the end of a convertible Fox sun visor?  My '90 convertible is missing one of the rubber tips, where it snaps into the retaining bracket above the rearview mirror, and it's rattling like crazy.  I thought something like a rubber plug used to cap off vacuum lines might do the trick, but I haven't found one that's the correct size and length.  From what I can tell, no one is reproducing these yet.  Surely I can't be the only one with rattling sun visors?   :D

Hey Brett, have you tried Late Model Restoration Supply? Back when I had my '87 GT 5.0, I done business with them on several occasions. Great people. latemodelrestoration.com.

Richie, I did, but didn't see them listed in their catalog or on their website.  They are good people, I've bought from them before.
