Title: 70 Boss 302 rear leaf spring color

Hi and sorry as I'm pretty sure this question has been asked but I went to the library and couldn't find anything- OK without further ramble - I have a 70 Boss 302 and what color -if any are the rear leaf springs ?? black, natural or ??

 also what paint marks are on them  ? have a 70 deluxe car

Leaf springs were a dark heat treated natural look with light/fresh sheet looking clamps applied around them. Contrast will be obvious once assembled

'For others watching - please do not use these marks on your car unless you own the exact same year, model and type car.


Long leaf - approx 1" wide stripes across the leaf just in front of the rear shackle

2 green and 2 brown stripes - Rear to front. Example below
