Another Metuchen Oddity

Saw this 1971 on eBay and also on marketplace. The vin number stamping under the fender starts with a zero. Just another Metuchen oddity worth documenting.

Kind of the continuation of the VIN practices of 1970 NJ  that often create issues for owners
