I have a smog pump bracket that was chrome plated. What would be the most effective way of removing the chrome and returning it to a natural finish?

Take it to a chrome shop. It takes more than a dip in acid.

I went by Bob Gains shop today and he solved my chrome striping problem by selling me a nice original bracket. I am certain that was more cost effective. Thanks Bob!
