Thanks,
That is a very hard to find nose cone compared to the common automatic version. I don't have a part number to order from because that is basically useless in this case. I have gotten used to identifying them from the unique physical appearance since the the numbers are typically covered with dirt and grease.  The engineering number that is cast into the part that I have seen frequently is C5TF-11131-A. There is also a DOOF-11131-B that looks the same. Obviously the DOOF -B would be after the fact however the outward appearance once mount is identical in all aspects. There are probably others but like I said I am mainly concerned with what the nose looks like once mounted . I consequently haven't paid a lot attention to the various numbers. I have only have been concerned with what it looks like from a judging standpoint when I look under the car. Also keep in mind that starting in 1968 production that a wrong nose cone can cause flywheel/flexplate engagement problems.

Is there a list of nose cones stamped numbers and application someplace.  I've looked through my Ford MPC and couldn't find one.

Pretty simple as far as application on the Mustang. The two ear noses cones regardless of if auto or manual were all the same 65-67 . Starting in 68 there was a change in teeth on the flywheel to 164 which triggered a change in the manual trans starter nose cone to be the wider variety compared to the  narrow one used on all automatic versions 65-70 . If you want the original look stay away from any marked that start with D1,D2 etc. Those starter nose cones were improved with strength gussets in the casting that are different looking on the inside and outside of the part.
