Just another suggested running change survey. So show us what you've found and documented. Still starting out with San Jose only examples.
This may turn out not to be a running change but instead something else but lets collect, compare and then see what the data shows us. Thanks
These were colored to go with particular interiors so if your findings do not match (if they do) mention that also. May indicate it has been replaced at some point in the past.
As a base line here is a picture of the day and night version with the knob.

And an early NOS example with the arm style.

So we're looking at Adjuster style and color of the mirror body and interior color to see if there is something there also

My signature car has a knob.
It is a black Dlx interior with a black mirror.

It looks to me I also have the knob.

Kind regards,

Interior and mirror color?
Should have put that in the opening post - have added it.

I have noted 2 different designs of the mirror with knob. One is smaller (not as wide) as the other.
My 11/16/66 SJ with blue interior has the smaller, while my 2/1/67 GT350 has the larger in black.
Kurt.

Thanks Kurt and great a possible second variation. Is your 11/16/66 car's mirror blue to match the interior or black. And what is the size difference. May be difficult to determine in pictures which is which especially from an angle.
Of course we would now need to find others like your larger or smaller one to confirm since either could be a replacement from later on (NOS)
