Title: Gas tank finish preservation.

  Getting ready to install a new fuel tank in this '66 convertible. Is there anything I can do to preserve the natural finish. Spray it with clear, or even just a coat of wax? The customer is mainly concerned with preventing corrosion. The car is going to see limited road use. Any ideas?

no clear ever. wipe it with boeshield.

any gun retailer will cary it on the shelves usually.
