70 GT500 - correct pcv valve

detailing my 70  gt500 engine at the moment-  my pcv valve is an orig but don't know if it's orig to the car  c7ae-6a666-b screws in to the brass  block     do i need one of the ones that have the c8oe number ( ev-45) ? or because it's 1970  a totally different pcv was used  thanks

Yes the C8 that is black oxide. It is virtually identical in appearance compared to the C7 marked one but instead of silver the C8 is black oxide.

Or you could black oxide or gun blue the C7 unit. The stamping is below the rubber surface once installed.
