dark argent application 1969/70 shelby
« on: March 19, 2015, 12:21:30 PM »
does the argent cover the "technicolor" to the upper bracket ( on fender) that attaches to rad support ( where the pack of taped shims go)  is it  like the whole area of exposed  h/lite bucket , clips and grille & bolts get a shot of argent.  been looking at many pics and they all seem to show the vertical mounting bracket body color.   couple of proper pics would help for sure-  june gt500  thanks for all the input

Hope I've got the area correct that your wanting to discuss. Yes that little extension is painted

Normally there is a taped line where the argent stops on the vertical surface of the inner side of the fender above the section of the fender that turns inward and attaches to the radiator support

Factory shot of them masking off the upper edge

Yes, the big washers under the sheet metal screw are factory . It spreads the load so the fiber glass ear does not crack.
