Would the body style, i.e. 63 A(?), typically be stamped on the bottom side of both rocker panels on these things? Were there any other stampings on the rocker panels visible on a finished car?

Well sort of. Since the coupes and fastbacks use the same rocker panels they are stamped (in a very big thin stamp) 65




Were there any other stampings on the rocker panels visible on a finished car?

As long as there is not a bunch of filler, thick primer then like originally the date stamp would be visible also

+1.  You’ll see a 63 in the trunk under the panel between the back window and deck lid.

So both the coupes and fastbacks have a 65 stamp?

As long as there is not a bunch of filler, thick primer then like originally the date stamp would be visible also

That is what the example (top picture) is showing
Its from an original late 67 GT350

Had a similar question from a fastback owner (different year) a couple days ago

I figure it's not Shelby specific but wanted to make sure the proper context was considered.
