Title: Question about Rear Stripe kits for Mach One
Post by: DaveF on April 11, 2024, 04:40:16 PM
I?m in the process of painting my 70 Mach one. The hood stencil paint is a matte black, with a certain amount of light texture. I ordered a decal for the rear of the car, but it was very glossy, and wouldn?t look right. Are there any trunk lid decals that aren?t so glossy?

Ordered from whom? We have two of the top Mustang parts suppliers as members of this forum. They might be interested in your "query".

The stripes that I ordered were from National Parts Depot. I order a lot of stuff from them, but I didn?t like the looks of the glossy stripes.

When I ordered mine - it was mat black (and believe it is correct)

Mine was glossy?? and when I had to repaint my extentsion - I had to make mine specially made to match the glossy.

Not sure I understand. Were the decals that you received matte or glossy?

Existing on car - glossy (assumed made)

Purchase from mustang places - matt

Okay, where did you order the matte ones from?
