Title: 1966 289 heater hose routing with smog system

Did a '66 A code 289 with the complete smog system still have the heater hose routed through the "saddle" on the choke cover, as on a non-smog car, depicted below?

believe so. it aided in the warmup of the choke.

+1 The heater hose that connects to the nipple at the front of the intake goes to the retainer that holds it firmly against the choke cover om 66 Thermactor equipped Mustangs
