428CJ Engine Paint Questions

On a 428 CJ, were the exhaust manifolds on the engine when it was painted? What was/wasn't on the engine? Motor mid plate was , correct?

Evidence points to the 428 CJ exhaust manifolds not being on the engine when it was painted in contrast to other engine sizes that typically were. Yes the 428 CJ block plate and bellhousing were attached to the engine when it was painted

Yes this would apply with both automatic and manual transmission cars ;)
