Odd door tag stamping
« on: September 24, 2023, 02:35:17 PM »
Found this picture on a Facebook forum. The alignment of the vin number is off but what I found odd is the dso code is missing. There are four even spaced letters at the end which look to be L O C W

Yes a bit odd but it was stamped at the plant where we seem to find the most VIN related mistakes and messed up stampings

As far as the LOCW the O and W would fit the regular codes used on a C code 67 Mustang for some applications

Looks just like another Metuchem worker screw up or playing around

I have seen some odd ones. Kevin seems to be able to recreate the spacing as well as the actual codes
