What is the finish on the bracket plates for the hood twist pins on a 73? These are the plates that are bolted onto the radiator crossbeam and accept the pin to lock the hood. I saw them with a natural finish on a low mileage 73 but mine are black. Perhaps painted incorrectly at one point?
