Title: Manual choke cable hole for Boss 429
Post by: 9TO2Hknot4cell on June 23, 2020, 01:57:12 PM
Can anyone tell me where KK put the manual choke cable hole in the firewall of the 69 Mustang Boss 429?

I am setting up my 69 Mustang for a Manual choke cable and thought putting it in the approximate location of the Boss 429 would be the thing to do.

Thanks for any information.

Of course a Boss 429 has two holes in the firewall unlike other models. One for choke and one for the hood scoop control cable

Here are two examples showing these holes. Inward (towards the center of the car) and upward from the main wire loom pass-through by the throttle cable location/hole. Bottom right picture left to right - two cable holes - electrical pass-through  - throttle - all below the cowl to firewall pinch weld
