Boss 302

fella I met is interested in selling his 1969 Boss,Problem is I see a few things that are making me think it might be a clone.I have asked for the vin and or a marti report and am presently waiting.Just wodering if anyone could shed a little light from a few pictures.He mentioned it was a california special which I never thought was produced in 69 .

Boss 302 Did Not Have the Scoop in the Rear Quarter Panel behind the doors. They Also Did Not Have Air Conditioning.

Lots of stories as usual

If the 5th digit in the VIN is not a G then its not a Boss also the 2nd digit would have to be an "F"

Only thing on the car that looks Boss is the stripe and they didn't make them in red 

Then there is the AC, hood scoop, quarter scoops - all the paint and interior details (seats, emblems, shifter, interior colors........) wheels  ..........

you have confirmed what I suspected, thank you .One thing that looks curious is the badge on the glove box any idea what this may be?

Yes they were available over the counter from Ford, found on over the counter valve covers and I think they were used on Ford cars during the 80's??
