Has anyone ever had any luck with rebuild parts for these. Thank you in advanced.

I have not played with one of these. Typically, the issue is worn out bushings where the handle attaches. There are metal replacements available. Again this is standard Ford stuff and I did have an issue with my 84 GT Turbo. I think the SVO is similar or the same.
I can look into it when I get back in country. Currently in Africa

As Kevin said , usually it is the "shifter to housing" bushings that are the issue to give a VAGUE feeling!

P.S. Unless you have a 84/85 SVO hurst gate , that is WAY different than the 85/5/86. Personally I wouldn't want the 84 style.
