Door switches
«

A friend is looking at a '65 fastback which is for sale over here. It has a std interior but is fitted with two switches on the door jamb.
Did the pony interior have two switches on the jamb and were they of the same type ?
The switches on this car are of different types.
We are trying to determine what the second switch is for on this car.
If anyone could put up a pic of an original pony set up that would be great.
Thanks

In 65 there was a single door switch in each side - never seen two installed on pony or standard interior
Could the second one be for the alarm?

Thanks Jeff.
If only one switch was used its a real possiblity that they are alarm switches.
My friend has passed on this car now as it has a poorly patched floor, but he is viewing another tomorrow which looks more promising.
