I've done some visual "reverse engineering" on this clip from Ford Car Parts (MPC), part group 13351. The material used for the service clips is not specified, this one looks to be plastic, possibly nylon, so that won't work to determine what it is. The next step is the attaching service hardware from the picture. The MPC does not list any standard hex head screw that small so that approach led no where. It exists, but from what remains to be seen.
