Topic: 68 Shelby Hub Cap Emblem ID?

Hi All, does anyone know how to properly identify the Original Center Emblems of the 1968 Shelby Hub Cap? I can not find any information on these, not even sure if Reproductions were made..

I have heard the Fuel Cap Emblem is similar. Is it even the same size? how do you discern between the two?

All hubcap emblems for 350/500/KR and the 350/500 gas cap emblems are the same .KR has different gas cap emblem

Thank you for responding Tim. Is the KR Gas Cap the Only Emblem that says COBRA JET, the Hub Cap Emblem does not?

I am still wondering how to tell the difference between repro and originals? I have a set of Hub Cap Emblems that have Raised Lettering and Snakes. Marked SHELBY COBRA. They are old and I believe them to be Originals, I got them from a 68 Shelby Owner.

To maintain full disclosure, I do plan to sell these, but do not want to advertise them as Originals if they are not. The 1968 Shelby Website that I usually research first, does not have any description regarding these.

Correct, only the KR gas cap is different. Original emblems have glue activated by solvent on rear
