Title: Radiator code - San Jose cars
Post by: Tiny on January 21, 2018, 05:27:45 AM
The attached images show the Code, WM0 67 2.
Probably a sill question but I take it that this is a 67 Radiator. For a 66 I assume it should read WM 0 66 2. (Just want to make sure)

Typically a different shape too.

For a Mustang the top tank is a

1- completely different shape top tank,

2- stamping runs horizontal to the long sides of the top tank,

3- the fonts are larger,

4- a "-" dash between the "W" and the "MO"

5- the date format is month then year not the other way around as done in 67.

One further point.  I have heard that San Jose built cars do not have the part number on the end tab as these were only on the builds in Dearborn and Metuchen?

Having it two places would likely seem redundant

Might have seen it in one of a half a dozen or more threads here related to the markings found on 65-66 radiators

Just one ;)
