1964.5 Ford Mustang convertible, original red 289 4 barrel 4 speed car. The most desirable car. 9k restoration work recently done. New floors, solid rails, solid trunk and front clip. Car drives. New carb, and recent interior replaced. Power top is in good shape. Serious inquires only. I am selling this for a friend. No low ball offers. This is a real rare Mustang convertible with desirable set up. A great Mustang to restore and enjoy. Mileage unknown 100,000 plus. Look at photos, they show the real condition. Price is negotiable. There are 28,833 convertibles for 64.5
Approx. 35.1 % were D code or 10,120
Approx. 16.1 % were red, or 1,619
Approx 10% were 4 speed, or 160
I estimate that there were less than 200 Rangoon red convertible D codes with a 4 speed transmission.
