Title: 67 San Jose Running change - Fastback Trap Door Hook
Post by: J_Speegle on January 25, 2022, 01:15:51 AM
Adding to the massive list of running changes that took place during 67 production is the change from the earlier style slotted bracket/hook for the trap door arm on the passenger side of the trap door opening.

Examples of the earlier version where the bracket or hook had a slot for the phosphate plated arm to rest in while the trap door was in its open position

And the later version where the slot and some of the material that makes up the arm was eliminated. A design that continued into 68 production

Have narrowed the change timing pretty well I think but always welcome data points/examples with real build dates if available from San Jose fastbacks built in 1967

Thanks as always
