Title: Autolite Shocks
Post by: ChrisV289 on October 10, 2009, 07:25:09 PM
What would be the correct part number for the Autolite Shocks used on Mustangs?  Would it be 18045?

Thanks,
Chris

Depends on options, year, etc...  Let us know more about the car you need them for.

It would be for a 1965 Mustang fastback, 289 v8 w/ AC and PS.  Built in San Jose on 10/29/64

Typical stamped numbers on shocks would be:

Front: C4ZF-18045-D,G or C5ZF-18045-A
Rear: C4ZF-18080-A,B,C or C5ZF-18080-A

Could be either FoMoCo or Autolite.
